hi, im trying to do the event count using USB 6009..

im using an toggle switch as an input to PFI0,i have configured the DAQ with edge, falling parameters..whenever i give toggle the switch,there is no increment in the count value..anybody help me out in this regard..

There is also a quick way to test this with out using a switch, connect one of the DI/O lines to the counter input. Then toggle the line. This is just  a sanity check but it is a classic "demo" of the counter input in several tutorials I have seen. But yes the switch diagram would be needed to see what is going on.
