getting residue signal

Hello

I have a data coming in which has spikes with high amplitudes and a base noise floor shown in figure attached.

I am looking for  a function in LV which would segregate the noise part into another array of data.

Basically i am more interested in getting the noise residue in another array and do further processing on it.

What array would I use?

  To remove the base noise floor which method/algorithm do you follow generally?If you know that we can try

implementing that same in LabVIEW.

Rite now I am not using any algo to remove it. The output is coming from an algo which outputs signals in terms of energy.

So how should I acquire noise signal into another array is my question ?
