It appears that some of your categories were set to be not visible. You can switch the palette view to "Category" and see which ones are set to be visible. This is saved in the labview.ini file with the key "PaletteHidddenFunctionlCategories".

One more simple solution would be

  • Right click the block diagram
  • Pin the function palette
  • Click the Customize button
  • Select View this palette as>> Category Standard

You are done.

I met up this problem when I click the right of the mouse. your method affects the main function palette.

this way affects only the main function menu view. If you do not make all your functions visible, when you click right on the block diagram window it seems mostly empty.

Yes you have to select the visible category in that. Is it coming empty even after doing this?
