Hi.
I am having difficulty doing a remote compile. This is more of a network setup problem I'm sure.
I have a PC with two network ports. The first one is set to 169.254.0.1 and communicates nicely with my PXI chassis. at 169.254.0.3
I would like to get the second port (which I can configure), to run the remote compiler on another PC. I can get it to work if I use the above mentioned port, no problem. However, it seems Labview only recognizes my primary port and can't connect to compiler on anything except it!
Is there a setup somewhere I am missing?
Thanks, and please let me know if more info is needed to solve this problem, it would be a big help.

Hi Bob,
What port number is this port at? Have you checked whether you have port 96 open--that is the default one that the FPGA Compile server uses. What are the configuration details of this second port? As I understand your PXI chassis has the RT target but you are trying to get the compile server to run on your PC. In order to do that, port 96 must be open.
