failure in detection of cameras after booting

I find the cameras undetected after the PC suffers an improper shutdown (like restarting ,hard shutting..)

Labview fails to recognise the cameras which are connected to the firewire interface.

And then i have to replug yhe device

pls help

That's strange. One suggestion that I have for you is to go into Device Manager to confirm the camera has been mapped to NI-IMAQ Interface Devices. Also, be sure to 'Update Driver' and do a manual install which will detect all the appropriate drivers for the device; make sure you choose the NI-IMAQ IIDC driver. Try that and let us know if you are still getting issues.

After rebooting the connected cameras which were working previously are not detected even in the device manager,,,

PLEASE explain why this is happening,,and what could be done for it?

 

Also suggest if it is a WINDOWS problem during its boot process....

&&  how to detect the cameras without replugging it if the boot process fails to recognise it

 

 

Or is it dependent on the interface firewire card ??

 

Pls help (URGENT)
