error #3 : "memory.c", line 838 labview version 5.1.1

Hi,
i've just installed labview 5.1.1 on a PC and when I try to run it or to open a VI it says error #3 : "memory.c", line 838 labview version 5.1.1.
I've found no answer on the failure part of this site (as it say in the error message).

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Bim

ps : I've cec488 for gpib communication installed but I hope it's not in cause...

I went to ni.com and searched for "memory.c and 838" (without the quotes), and a KnowledgeBase entry came up with suggestions regarding corrupt menu files, user.lib, etc.  It sounds like whatever GPIB driver you installed may have installed some corrupt menu files.  Check out the KnowledgeBase entry for more suggestions.
