Hi Iskander,

Do you have many shared variables in your Distributed System Manager (how many)? If so, try to undeploy them so that only the variables of interest are deployed. Dpes this increase the speed of the read? Also, try disabling your firewall and antivirus software to ensure that it is not interfering.

Also, there are other methods to set alarms programmatically. Have you tried using the Set User Defined Alarm subvi as an alternative solution?

Hi Julianne K

I run only Yous project Iskader.zip.

Delay is 800-1200 mSec

The firewall I have not  and antivirus software (ESET NOD32) was disabled.

The delay remained unchanged 800-1000.

The System Idle Process is 98 %.

I don't know what can I do?

Respect

Iskander.

Hey Iskander

Your computer stats are well within the operating requirements for LabVIEW, so I doubt that is the root of your timing problem.

Hi Iskander,

I would like to follow up on earlier suggestions. How many shared variables do you currently have deployed in Distributed System Manager (DSM)? You can access DSM by going to your Start Menu -> National Instruments -> Distrubuted System Manager. This is where you can view the number of shared variables currently deployed on your system.

Also, have you tried using the Set User Defined Alarm subvi as an alternative solution?

Hi Julianne K
I ran the DSM

I have all near 120 shared variables now.

I didn't  try use the Set User Defined Alarm subvi.

I ran Yours project on another PC . The delay was the same - 700-1000 ms

I must  to solve this problem.

I can to permission Yours  the remote access to my PC that You can see this delay.

Respect

Iskander

Hi Iskander,

I do not think that remote access to your computer will help, as I can see from your earlier screenshots that the delay exists. Please try using the Set User Defined Alarm method. An example to get started with is the DSC Alarms Demo/lvproj, which can be found in the Example finder. A good VI which is located in this project is "DSC User Defined Alarms Demo.vi." Please let me know if this method solves the problem.

Thanks

I know about the Set User Defined Alarm method.

You wrote that the  delay for Yours example Iskander.zip 17 KB is 100 ms

Did You use Set User Defined Alarm method in Yours example?

Best regards.

Iskander
