distribution of software

Hello All,

I have made a labview application and I want to distribute it in such a way, that when the user opens it, he can just see the Front panel and not the Block Diagram. I also want to lock all the items on the front panel ( sliders, buttons etc ) so that they are not moved around. i would also like the front panel to automatically adjust to the screen size of user, while keeping all the buttons etc visible.

These are all options that are selectable when you save the vi's.  You want to make a copy of all your work before you do it, to make sure that you don't  lock yourself out of your code. If you right click on the vi's icon you will get a menu allowing you to go into the properties. You can save vi's without diagrams, or you can password protect them, to allow certain customers/users access as you see fit. I haven't tried the front panel scale to fit option in a long time, it had problems in the past with scaling certain front panel objects.

Why don't you compile the program and set the VI to full screen mode?
