display true color picture

Dear All,

I've tried to load a true-color picture by labview under Linux OS, however I found that the picture come out is only 8-bit. I would like to ask how can I load a true-color in labivew under Linux OS?

Hello,

I have never heard of this problem before...I am currently checking with R&D to see if they have any helpful suggestions. Since I don't know anything about your system (Linux version, LabVIEW version, specified monitor color depth, etc.), I don't know how specific the advice will be that I receive. Nevertheless, I will post to this thread as soon as I hear something back.

Thanks for your patience, and have a nice day.

Sincerely,

Hello,

I heard back from R&D, and they needed some more clarification on the question. It's unclear what you mean by "loading" a true-color picture. Using Import Picture from File to load a 24-bit JPEG image, and then
pasting that onto the panel should work fine. Are you seeing otherwise?

Please let me know, and make sure to be very clear in describing your problem. Thanks for your patience, and have a nice day.

Sincerely,
