digital analog in one queue

Solved!
Go to solution
I want to create one queue for both digital and analog data. The attached vi has two. How would you get the 2 different data type feed to one queue? It would require a digital waveform and an analog waveform to get the data into one queue. Any ideas? I am using cDAQ-9172 and NI 9401 and NI 9205

I think you'd need a cluster with a digital and analog waveform, and write to whichever element applies.

Please mark Jim's post as the the solution, then.  First you will have to unmark yours by way of the Options menu to the upper right.

Go to your message, Options menu to the upper right.  Should be a choice "unmark as solution" or something like that.

Then go to Jim's and you'll be able to mark as solved.

Is there a version 8 to this solution or could we just get a block diagram in jpg?  Thanks.
