diadem express tutorial? Getting data into diadem, then manipulating it

I have recently downloaded diadem, and am interested in generating reports.  I am not creating tdm or tdms files, I am using the DIAdem express function to port my acquired signal data directly into a report template.  This has not been easy.  Here are the hang ups:

Since the data isn't in diadem yet, manipulating it into a spread sheet or graph isn't easy.  I am trying to create a spread sheet (as you would with any data) where I have headers and rows with my data.  There isn't any processing necessary at the moment, but just properly displaying it is giving me grief.  Are there any tutorials that deal with porting the data in, and using generic reports to display the information?

-Regards
