hi member

i try to detect reangle in binary image using shape detetion vi but no result i get
as you can see from figure below

i change many paramter <::max,min,
can any help please

Please provide the image that you are working on.

 

Also there are other options which are suitable for detecting rectangle like shape detection, Pattern Matching..etc..

note the rectangle size is change so i think pattren maching will not work

This examples parameters can be tailored to rotation, scale, and occlusion.

but how can i get ROI value so can i get the each mached  object  and analysis it and find its area in pixel???

Hello Mangood,

The output cluster of IMAQ Match Geometric Pattern 2 has the position of the origin of each of the pattern matches. You can then use the caliper function to measure the height and width of the rectangle and solve for the area.
