deleting file readonly

I'am having trouble deleting files that are read only.  Is thier a way to delete these files or change the file properties?

Yes, check out the help for the Set Permissions function in LabVIEW 8.0 (I believe it is called the "Access Rights" function in earlier LabVIEW versions).  There is a bit mask you can apply to this VI that will set the read-only permissions on a file.
