data acquisition for TTL signal

    I plan to interface TTL signal for my project with my PC. my DAQ card is PCI-6024E. wanna ask, what is the type of data acquisition i gonna to use?digital I/O -->read from digital line or read from digital port? or others?or analog input-->acquire waveform?waveforms?AI sample channel?AI sample channels?

   i'm newbie for Labview, hopefully can obtained some help from you guys. currently using for Labview 6i
