daq 9219 problem

respected sir we are working on our final year bachelors project. we are using DAQ-9219 for  the stress analysis using load cells.and the 9219 is not working.the excitation voltage of load cell is 9 to 12 volts and that of DAQ is upto 2.7 volts. please share your expert opinion with us

Hi Zee,

as can be read in the datasheet of the NI9219:

Excitation level is a characteristic and is not software-selectable.

So you cannot control the excitation voltage using any software and need to work with the voltage you get.

the excitation voltage of load cell is 9 to 12 volts

I guess the datasheet of that load cell is saying something like "typical excitation voltage", but you can also operate that load cell with less excitation…
