cross correlation problem

I'm trying to do the cross correlation between two signals in order to align them, but the result for the maximum indice of correlation is always (Nber_samples - 1).
Here's my VI, i must do something wrong but i don't know what, if someone can help me...

can someone explain me how to find the value that i must shift of my signal to align them??
