connection to RT engine has been lost,...

I am trying to run a VI in development mode on a PXI 8145RT embedded system. The problem is that everytime I start the program I immediately get the message "Connection to RT engine has been lost, switch back to host LabVIEW" The application closes and I never get to run the program. I have the application which I am downloading at a normal priority and ruinning in a 200ms loop. What else can I try to get this thing to run so that I can debug it whilst it is running?
Thanks in advance for your assistance, -Tom

I was able to corect the problem by un-checking the "deallocate Memory as soon as possible" setting under RT Target Options. I was fortunate enough to have two (2) PXI chassis where one worked while the other didn't. This was the only difference that I found between them and it corrected the problem.
