compare and extract number from string

My meanning is: if I have a number, eg, 347750 and then i need to extract the nearest greater number-in the example is: 347760 and then the same line rate I also need to pick is: 0.45%( pls see the attach jpg)

btw, how to extract the float number and percentage number from the string.

Hi srt,

I also had a go, but reading from a file.

I assumed you might want the actual line of the file so I have added that in too.

Paul, Many thanks for your many helpful VIs. I am pretty new to LabView so I have a simple question for about serial port out. I am reading this set of info from a digital multipurpose thermometer.

etc. each of the first repeating characters represent temperature, pressure, dew point etc. and the second set represent the real value. how do i sort this string and display it?
