combo box to another vi

I want to go another vi when i select the item in the combo box followed by clicking an ok button..
Anyone out there can help me to do this program..

You could use an event structure to detect the value change in the combo box and then feed that into a state machine.  this would probably work best in a producer consumer architecture (see the shipping examples of how to do each item and then combine them all)

If you cant get it to work, post your attempted vi and we can go from there.

In addition to Kenny's good advice, I've attached a little excerpt of code I keep around to show customers how to programmatically run another VI dynamically. It's written in LabVIEW 8.0, but I'm attaching a screenshot as well just in case you're using an earlier version.



Of course, you will only need to use code like mine if you want to select your VI dynamically -- if you know which VI it is beforehand, you can just place the subVI on the block diagram as usual.
