Did you mean:

comandline, open *.lvm files from windows explorer

hello,

my program (mess.exe) saves the measurement results in some *.lvm files (measure1.lvm, measure2.lvm, ...)

When you make a doubleclick on such a lvm file in the Windows Explorer, my labview program "mess.exe" should be start and load the data from the klicked lvm file and display the data.

I solved this with the comandline function and with the first lvm file this works fine.
But when my program "mess.exe" ist already runing, Windows changed to my program but I don´t get any information about the second doubleclicked lvm file. The comandline shows always the path of the first file.

Can somebody help my ?

This seems to be a variation of the question the poster asked here.

Not sure where somebody is supposed to respond.

smercurio, it's on the same topic but a different issue. Thus the poster can mark each solution seperatly 😉

To the question: maybe there is some event you can catch. I don't have something the like on 7.1, so I don't know. Otherwise you might need to find a way to talk to the OS (register for the event on your own). Browse msdn on this...
