Yes, there should be but I do not have NI CAN (NI 845x??) installed here.

the CAN device used here is the USB-8473

I don't have the driver installed (or the associated help file) so the LabVIEW API is not currently visable to me.  Check the documentation on how to reset the device

 

Start>> All Programs>> National Instruments>> NI 845x>> Documentation>>   There should be a help file
