Here is a bug in LV 2019 SP1, it took me quite some time to narrow it down to the minimal amount of code.

No Crash on LabVIEW 64Bit 2020; have not yet installed SP1. Crtl+S and Save from file menu both don't crash.

I can reproduce your issue in LabVIEW 2019 SP1 f3 64-bit on my system. However, it doesn't reproduce in LabVIEW 2020 f1 64-bit.

So set the default value on a Map with a class causes LabVIEW to crash when attempting to save? Yes, causes LabVIEW 2019 SP1f3 to crash. LabVIEW 2020 SP1 worked just fine.
