choose defult value from list

Hi

I build vi that read from ini file and put it in drag list ( attach vi) 

what I need to know If I can make and defult name that always this name will be sign when start this vi 

example 

the list include 5 name and I alyaws want that item 3 will be defult alyaws to choose it

can I do that in labview?

just now that I am using labview 2013

Hi Elyan,

you can set a default value for each control/indicator in its right click (context) menu.

Or you could use a local variable of a control to set a certain value…
