chasis communicator not present

I am trying to set up my test board on a Windows XP computer using LabView 7.1. I believe I have installed all the drivers and software that is needed. It seems as though my system is being recognized by the computer, but I am unable to communicate with my test board. I have attached the error I am receiveing when I try and test my set up using the Measurement and Automation Explorer. Any help with how to get around this issue would be great. Thanks.

Hello,

Which versions of DAQmx did you install?

Is the device loader started?  Control Panel»Administrative Tools»Services»NI Device Loader

Take a look at this KnowledgeBase article and let us know if that helps.

Jacob,

Thanks for the reply. I believe I installed DAQmx Version 6.93. Is there a way to confirm which Version I have?

My device loader has not started. I have attached the error I get when I try to start the loader, as well as a view of my services page. It seems to me like I am missing something that is keeping me from communicating with my devices. Any help would be great. I am beginning to get lost with all of this.

Thanks for the article as well. I will see what tips I can get from it.
