HI,
Is there an option to change the shape of controls in Labview Vi as per the requirement.
Example : can a round LED be reshaped into an arrow ?

The easiest way would be to use a picture ring and create your own. I don't think you can modify the shapes of the controls. Another option might be to place a picture control over a large square boolean with an arrow shaped transparency.

Did you try a search? This question gets asked a lot. LabVIEW has the ability to customize controls, but to a limit. Did you look in the LabVIEW Help? There was also a recent discussion on this: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Triangle-or-free-shape-Boolean-control/m-p/1735368/highlight/true#M6...

One thing you can do is customise the button. In which you have provision to insert the pics or icons for both on and off states and can be used accordingly.
Here are the few steps to follow.
1. right click on control/indicator, reach customised under advanced. the same will be opened in a new vi.
2. go to tools pallete and make both the state (on and off) to transparent.
3. click on the customise button on menu bar.
4. right click on the button and select import pic of same size.
5. follow 3 and 4 for the other state and save.
Now u have your own customised control/Indicator..
