can geometric matching match the images with different pixel

hi all,

i want to use geometric matching to find the matches object from the webcamera. But now i can only find the object with the same pixel (at a fixed distance), when the object far from the camera and get smaller, although it's the same object but it cant be found. Can someone help me out?

Hi,

Did you use the vi "match geometric pattern"? I'm of the opinion, with this vi you can only found matches that are really equal, because it compares an image with a template image. Try to use it in combination with the "setup match geometric pattern.vi" to set parameters.
