Hi;
my project is to transmit and receive a text using labview comms and USRP RIO 2952,I already built the transmitter and the receiver,but my question is that:we know that the USRP RIO is not similar to usrp host,that in the RIO we must compile the code to the FPGA of the RIO,so can I use the RIO as a host(transmitting and receiving without compiling)?
thanks a lot,

You can use a USRP RIO with the NI-USRP host API as long as you are not modifying the default FPGA image. You should be able to find the NI-USRP example programs within Comms under the "Learning" tab in the "Hardware Input and Output" section.
