cRio-9035 and cRio-9066 licensing

Dear Miss/Mr,

After I bougth the compactRIO systems stated above with the cRio I/O modules and cRio AI & AO modules, should I still need to buy LabView Real-Time Module and LabView FPGA Module?
if I needed these two Real Time and FPGA features to have it in the systems.

To use CompactRIO with LabVIEW, there are two type, Scan Mode and FPGA Mode.

Understanding NI CompactRIO Scan Mode

With Scan Mode, you need LabVIEW + LabVIEW Real-Time Module.

With FPGA Mode, you need LabVIEW + LabVIEW FPGA-Module.

If both, both modules are required.

Return to this topic, I agree with nghssv.

I looked for a document which mentioned the fact, but it was difficult for me.

I tried NI CompactRIO Advisor, it also didn't.

I think including those lincense into the system is not needed but,

NI must announce it to a customer who is new to cRIO when they try to purchase.

For example, I think showing following message would be helpful.

"Hey, You must have LabVIEW FPGA Module to use FPGA in CompactRIO, do you have the one?"

Hi seb,

this is no error, this is by design!

You get a list of installed modules in your LabVIEW project, when you include your crio target...

Best regards,
