blacked out text on front panel in sub-panel

I have a vi running in a sub-panel that uses tab dialog. The text on the tabs of the tab dialog is blacked out when the vi is running in the sub-panel. Why is this?

Hi,
Could you attach the VI you are using and also attach a snap shot of the problem you are talking for better understanding.
cheers

I have actually found a solution to the problem.

Another thread mentions the problem that I was observing with the text on a front panel being blacked out in a sub panel.

The solution on this thread says to regular the text background. This works for the chart but I could not get it to work for a classic tab dialog. I am not sure if you are able to change the background behind the tab text or not, like you can in a button or on a chart. It is possible the accuracy of my color changing abilities is lacking. Regardless, the problem is with vertical text in subpanel and R&D is aware of the problem.

My solution was to alter the tab in the advanced settings to only show images. Then I took a screen shot of the tab control how I wanted it. Then I copied the text in MS paint and went back to the tab dialog went to advanced an imported from clipboard. This worked very well. I can no longer change the text on my tab dialog with ease but I am ok with that work around.

Thanks...

Desmond
