What is your problem? You are asking for a "feature" that 99.9% of LabVIEW developers don't want (and would definitely "get in the way", since most of the time when we drop a sub-VI into an existing Block Diagram, we want to wire its inputs and outputs into the Block Diagram that's already present, many times using a Quick-Drop shortcut to "auto-wire" it. You want to do something a little different, but there's another Quick Drop shortcut (that I didn't know about, largely because I've never wanted or needed to use it) and you are complaining!
Do you know about the Idea Exchange on the LabVIEW Forums? You can post your idea for this feature there, but I'm pretty sure it will never be adopted, as it would benefit you (alone), and be a PITA for all the rest of us. (Note -- PITA is not a form of Middle-Eastern "bread").
