why does the build application access the internet? and can we not have this happen?

McAfee pops up each time and says that it has blocked this application from accessing the Internet and do I want to allow it or block it?

This is another example of a silly and useless firewall message. Most likely you can simply allow these.

 

Can you see if there is information about destination IP, destination port, etc. of the packet that triggered the alert? Have you read the thread I linked above?
