any tutorials for controlling electromechanical valve?

I need to control an electromechanical valve using Labview.I would like to know if there is any tutorial which would help me to control the valve.  The valve is 2 way dynamco valve requiring 5V DC as input supply.I want to control the air pressure in a microchannel using the software .

If it requires a 5V signal to operate the valve, then you can use a digital line from an NI DAQ board. What kind of hardware do you have now? If you don't have anything, the USB-6008 is an inexpensive solution and there are numerous examples on how to use DAQmx and digital outputs. Also, please be aware that you often need a current amplifier/relay driver on the output of the digital output.
