One thing that you should do is first search the programming manual to see what are the necessary commands (if they exist). If you can find the commands, then you should be able to search the functions in the driver to see if they exist. They just might exist in a function that combines several operations. If they do not exist, then it should be a simple task to modify the driver by adding a new function. You can provide this as feedback to NI so that the driver can be updated.
