Download the drivers from the Instrument Driver Network.

FYI: The Agilent I/O Libraries are not used by LabVIEW. They're used by Agilent applications.

Since you are new to this, I would recommend some of the resources from the "Learn" section of the Instrument Driver Network. Specificly, I would point you towards, Instrument Control Fundamentals as well as the How to use a an Instrument Driver in LabVIEW.

Good luck, and these forums are a great spot to get advice, just make sure to search the site before you post 😉

Use the 'Instrument I/O Assistant'.
This will help you set up your communication with the device
* Before you use the assistant, the driver for the instrument must be installed

Make sure you select the right port (ie COM1, COM2, LPT1, etc)
then you should be able to communicate with the device.
I'm not sure what you are trying to do with the device so i cant help from there

That's not correct. The instrument I/O assistant does not depend on the instrument driver at all. In fact, about the only time you would use the assistant is when there is no driver and you are not that comfortable programming with the actual VISA functions.
