add new indicator subVI how to see it in VI

I have a VI and a subVI, I added a boolean(LED) in the SubVI what should i do to see it on VI

Hi Toni.

It depends on what You are going to accomplish:

If You want to let the SubVI finish before the LED is updated in Your Main.VI, You just need to connect the indicator to the connector Pane.

If You want to see the LED status in Your Main.VI while the SUB.vi is running You need to use af refenrence.

Could You post Your code. It would make it a lot easier to help You.

Hi Toni,

did you take part in those free beginners courses for LabView?

Making new connections in the connector pane is really some very basic LabView stuff!

du findest die gleichen Kurse (in Deutsch natürlich) auf den NI Webseite -> Academic -> LabView-Schulung...

Dort gibt es auch Übersichten über andere Veranstaltungen (kostenlose und preiswerteSmiley Happy)...
