Hi to all, I am creating an installer for my application, and I want to run a program after installation. Yes, there exists a section on the installer tab for that. However, it doesn't work(most probably I couln't do). You just write the name of the executable in the box but how does the setup know where this program? I tried to locate it in the same dir with the setup. I tried to give dir info (ex: "..\..\a.exe"). None of them works. How can I do that? thanks.
The exe should be located in the same directory as the exe you are installing. This has worked fine for me. Make sure you are distributing the file to the correct location. i.e. you should have specified this file as a support file, then click custom destinations button and make sure it's going to the install directory (remove anything from the relative path box).
