a question of exe file

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have just one question. Is it possible to run EXE files without installin LabView Run-Time Engine? I tried to run an EXE file on computers without LabView or installing LabView Run-Time Engine and I got an error (I attached a picture).

It would be very handy if I could run an application without intalling anything to other computers.

Thank you.

Nope, as the error states, you need the run time engine installed.  I recommend making an installer, which will install your .exe, run time engine and any other necessary components.   It really isn't all that difficult.

Hi,

That's not possible. A LabVIEW EXE needs the LabVIEW Run-Time engine to run.

You can create an installer for your exe including the run-time engine (will be >50MB).
