Hi to everyone,
I have a problem communicating with a Zebra Printer GC420t. On NI MAX appear a warning symbol on the COM port, when i go to port setting and validate the device appears a "VISA error code 0XBFFF0000".
I have tried communicating via RS232 and USB, with RS232 appears the error above and with USB connection the device does not appear on NI MAX, only on the device manager.
Do you guys have any suggestion of what can it be?
Thanks

Hello André spa,
I've used several times those kind of printer and the procedure that I use is a very simple one:
1. Create a. Prn file using the printer software.
2. Make sure that you have a correct cable. Check the pinout on the manual.
3. Use the simple serial write example to send the the prn
If these points are correct and the file is well done it should work. I never use MAX to visa ports.
