Y scale resizes width of chart

Hello,

1. Upon manually setting the Y scale multiplier using a control, the width of the Plot Area of a chart resizes until I can't see the scale any more.

See attached pics for details. Pic1 was captured after several multiplier adjustments, you can see the plot width goes beyond control's width.

Pic2 are the settings.

2. I cannot manually adjust the width of the chart! (The height is ok).

3. Setting PlotArea -> Width in my main loop does nothing at all.

Any clues on how to solve this?

I think it was Christian some years ago that helped someone with a similar problem by suggesting shuttig off ....

Advanced >>> Autoadjust Scales

I am not sure if that will help with your situation.

Just trying to help,

Yes I saw that post, but it creates another problem -  the scale values themselves don't adjust.

When I change my Y scale or multiplier I am also re-calculating the minimum and maximum values. For example, they may be 0.5 and -0.5, or 1 and -1... etc.

When I follow the suggested above I lose this functionality.
