XNET ldf attributes

Hello,

I would like to retrieve the attributes of a signal from a ldf file.

There is a vi to retrieve attributes from a DBC file but not for the ldf. (XNET Database Get DBC Attribute.vi)

Is it possible?

Best Regards

Hi didje007,

I was able to find a few resources that might help you find an answer. I don't personally have any experience with database files and LabVIEW, but these old forum threads might offer some guidance.

Read Signal Encoding from LDF File

Open LDF File (pretty old)

LDF Starter Kit (also very old)

It seems that there is an a set of XNET functionality that is not yet supported in LabVIEW. That's not to say that there isn't a way to pull out the signal attributes from an LDF file, but it may not be easy.

Best,

Duncan W.

It seems I didn't use the correct words to search the forums since I didn't find this thread.

Then I have my answer it is not supported by XNET and I have to use a different solution.

I've kudoed the idea in the idea exchange.

Thank you for your answer.
