Writing multiple commands with serial communication

Thank you for your help, this is probably the closest solution I could have asked for without any of you having access to the device. I should be able to use this vi as a means to accomplish what it is I hope to do with the device. I think my issues revolve around setting the proper timing to give the device a chance to readout data before reading in new commands and also terminating lines appropriately. I appreciate all of the help!
