Win joystick for labview input?

Does anyone know how to look at the joysticks posistion from
Labview? Using a joystick to move a X, Y table for set up is
very intuitive.
Thanks,
Matthew

I'm not sure about the positions. I know that National Instruments has
an OK joystick vi at their website: www.ni.com

Also, I use labview for the x-y movement of an optical stage. You really
need a controller box that will give you the power to move the box. I'm
not giving any plugs, the ones from newport (www.newport.com) has some
nice controlers.

Dorian,
Thanks. I found the joystick vi's after I posted the question.
They are newish. I had looked before, but not recently. They
look like what I need, I am inspecting production and
the operators just need to setup the machine to run the automatic
inspection. Again thanks.

Try
http://www.ni.com/support/trouble/motion/qstandex/flex0007.htm
Note that it is set up for the NI motion boards but the lower
VI's are generic.
