Why wont my voltage measurement work?

I'm measuring temperature and voltage, however my voltage wont change. On labVIEW it stays flatlined. I'm running a SCXI 1000 chassis with a PCI-6024E card and 1302 1303 and 1180 paththru.

It could be any of a number of things: Reading the wrong channel (bad program), Channel shorted (bad wires), and depending upon how old your hardware is, it could be broken too.

Are all channels bad?

Hi Mark,

I would recommend testing your channels by using Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).  Have you already set up your software configuration in MAX?  If so, you can create either a task or global channel to test with by right clicking on Data Neighborhood and choosing create new.   If you are able to correctly read signals here, you probably are pointed to the wrong place in the program you have written.

If you could provide more details about your configuration, I will try to help further.

Thanks,

Laura
