Why labview would allocate more memory in every run?

I had a similar problem, in one of the IMAQ functions i didn't wire a target picture wire and it created a new picture for every picture taken, adding a couple of megs every 2 secs. Consequently the program ran out of memory after a few hours ...

Hey Kathrin,

Thanks for the hint. It seems that the use of tunnels could be the reason for such a high memory allocation.

Best regards,

Hi Hooovahh,

Thanks for the hint. I found the feature in LabVIEW 2013 as well.

By the way, I was not looking for a menchanic to fix my car, but rather for some customer service! 😉

Best regards,

Esteban

It might be in 2013, but in 2014 SP1 (not SP0) the feature was improved a lot.  Again I don't have any real world experience with it yet, but I've heard good things.
