Why does my G webserver run so slowly?

My computer has installed LabVIEW 6.i and Internet Tool Kit 1.0. For some reason, it has two Ethernet Adapters installed on it, one connect to Internet and the other connect to LAN in our lab. There are two diffrent IP addresses bounded with that two Adapters. When I start up http server of ITK1.0, it's fast to visit it's web page on web server, but it's very slow on other computer in the LAN or in Internet.
I enabled "UseDNS" in the http server configuration.

Here is what I suspect is happening: the http server will only respond on one IP address, and it would be the ip address for the adapter card connected to the internet. Your lab computer are likely having to connect through the internet to your http server rather than connecting to it directly through the lab LAN. All the addressing therefore needs to be resolved throught the network for the client machines to find the http server. You may be able to improve things slighty by not using the DNS. Try using the IP address in dot notation rather than another designation. If that improves things, you might also look into configuring things in the DNS Configuration options for Windows (Network properties for the TCP/IP protocol).

(In addition to the previous post)
When you access the pages on the server, the time required for transferring the page content (from server to browser) is very short.
When using the LAN or Internet, everything depends on the speed of that network. Comparing to processing speed (server to read and send the page / browser to display it), the transmission time takes the big part of the delay.
Supposing that your LAN is quite fast, it would be a good idea to consider the amount of data in those pages (especially pictures, pdf files, excel files).
Good luck!
p.s.: Did you try to access the server using its LAN IP?

I mean accessing the server from another LAN computer, using its LAN IP or computer name.
