When with the OS X version of Labview be ready?

All Apple computers are shipping with OS X as the default OS. When will we see the new version of Labview?

LabVIEW does not currently support MacOS X; however, National Instruments will continue to support the Macintosh platform, and support for MacOS X will be added to a future LabVIEW release. NI LabVIEW for Mac OS X is targeted for release by the end of 2002. The only I/O VIs you will be able to use with this version are, VISA for multiple interfaces along with GPIB VIs using the Ethernet-to-GPIB converter. However, NI will continue to support in Mac OS 9 all plug-in DAQ and GPIB boards currently available with LabVIEW 6.1.

Do the drivers for PCI GPIB cards work with Mac OS 9.2.x? We are seeing some problems with LV 5.1 and these cards.

NI-488.2 for MacOS supports MacOS 9.0.x (or earlier), but it does not yet support MacOS 9.1.x or MacOS 10.
