When hit control alt delete keys on Windows XP

What is the consequence when LabVIEW exe is running and the control+alt+delete keys are hit on Windows XP OS?

Does the LV process get halt during this interruption until the Windows Security Dialog receives input from the user?

I am running a LV serial communication via NI RS-485 board between the host PC and a microprocessor.

After the control+alt+delete, the host PC receives checksum error from the microprocessor. It seems that both ends are out of sync.

a3j,

I believe your problem probably lies with the fact that Windows systems are not deterministic.  It is possible that Windows halts programs during this stage, you would need to check with Microsoft.  However, what I believe may be the cause is that the CPU is prioritizing this new process which causes your error.

Trey C.
