Ok,
I have spoken with the NI rep about these modules, and apparently they
have been put on "Engineering Hold" to allow a redesign of the Ethernet controllers
- the current components were found to have some problems meeting the temperature
operating requirements. What this means in practical terms I have no idea,
but the redesigned modules should be released by the end of the year (i.e.
December), so if you have any trouble, hassle NI to get replacements.
Cheers,
Ben
