Inadvertantly hit "Enter" and the thing posted before I had a chance to explain......

I'm capturing data into a buffer which is comprised of a 2-D of clusters. Each row of the array is a channel, while each element of the array contains a cluster. Currently, all the parts of the cluster are numerics but that may not be the case as I go forward.

Have played a few games trying to save it with no success. Interested in easiest, most compact file to read/write to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
All the best,
Hunter

Well, this depends a little bit on the purpose. Does the file need to (1) readable by humans or do you (2) simply need to be able to read it back in later?
For case 2 you could use a datalog file. Check the online help.

Thanks for the suggestion to use a datalog file. Never used them before but I'll give it a shot.
Thanks again.
