Web Publishing Tool Problems

I am having problems with the web publishing tool that are resulting in a broken image when attempting to access my VI through a browser window. I have read about plugin problems with newer versions of Chrome and Firefox, so I've made sure to try IE as well with the same end result. I am unable to get my VI to show up in a browser window even on the host computer. I have verified that I have the "LV2014ActiveXControl.dll" plugin present in the Internet Explorer plugins folder on my pc. However, when attempting to register the plugin (using regsvr32 command in cmd prompt) I get an error message. I have attached an image of the error message to this post. I am running LV 2014 SP1 on a corporate machine that was recently "upgraded" to Windows 10, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the issue. I have a customer demo early next week, so I'm really just hoping to get the VI to display via browser as quickly as possible. I don't need remote control or anything, just viewer capability.

Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all!

What version of IE are you using?

Given that this issue seems to have started around the same time the computer was upgraded to Windows 10, I would also try to repair the LabVIEW 2014 SP1 runtime, which includes that plugin file.  For good measure, you might move the existing plugin file to another folder which should force the installer to make a new copy.

The force reinstall process is documented here: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P8U0SAK&l=en-US

For plugin problems with the Web Publishing Tool generally, these two articles are helpful:
